TOWN HALL PROJECT UPDATE – WEEK 18
ACCOMPLISHED THIS WEEK
- The building was lowered down onto the new foundation walls.
- Restored windows were delivered.
- Backfilling the foundation was started. (see picture)
NEXT WEEK
- Foundation backfilling will be finished to rough grade elevations.
- Restored windows will be reinstalled.
- Connector floor area will be graded and insulated in preparation for the concrete floor slab.
SCHEDULED.
- Patch lifting beam pockets.
- Finish floor system repairs.
- Pour Connector floor.
- Install Connector framing and Library roof tie-in. (August)
- Refinish Town Hall floor. (late July)
NOTE: As planned, the Town Hall and Creativity Lab should be ready to be used for the September 10th Primary Election. However, the Connector finishes will not be completed at that time, therefore Portable restrooms will be available for Poll workers and Library staff use.
