Vacancy on the regional planning commission board

The Town of Wilmot is a member of the Upper Valley-Lake Sunapee Regional Planning Commission (UVLSRPC), one of nine RPCs in the state. The commission has a director and several planners on staff, but it is governed by commissioners that are selected by each member town plus at-large commissioners.

The current commissioners for Wilmot are Bill Chaisson (the town’s land-use clerk) and Linda Scofield (secretary of the planning board). Linda would like to step down after many years of service and the town is looking for another resident to fill the seat. One need not be a town staff member or member of a local board.

For more information about the RPC see their website.

Also, feel free to call the town office during office hours. 603-526-4802
