Sheepish at the historical society – October 24

The annual meeting of the Wilmot Historical Society begins at 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 24 at the Wilmot Town Hall, 9 North Wilmot Road (next to the Wilmot Public Library).

In addition to the business portion of the meeting, which will be brief, there will be a presentation by former state commissioner of agriculture, retired journalist, and farmer Steve Taylor. He will talk about the most prominent agricultural pursuit of pre-Civil War New Hampshire: sheep raising.
