Public Safety Committee RFQ – Wilmot PD Space and Staffing Needs Assessment

The Town of Wilmot, NH is accepting Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) for a Police Department Space and Staffing Needs Assessment (full document below).

A complete response to this RFQ must include (5) five copies of a bound submittal along with an electronic submittal. Statements of Qualification will be received until 3:30 p.m. EST on February 1, 2023. They should be mailed or hand delivered to:

Town of Wilmot, PO Box 72 (mail) / 9 Kearsarge Valley Road (delivery), Wilmot, NH  03287 – Attention: Meghan Foley, Town Administrator

Proposals will be opened at the next regularly scheduled Board of Selectmen’s meeting, estimated to be on Wednesday, February 7, 2024.

The Town reserves the right to (1) reject any or all responses, (2) select a firm or individual who has submitted a fully responsive Statement of Qualifications and who is determined by the Town to be a professional, qualified firm or individual to be in the best interest of the Town, (3) reserves the right to waive defects and informalities of the submissions, or (4) take whatever action or make whatever decision it determines to be appropriate. The Town assumes no obligation in this general solicitation of Statement of Qualifications and all costs and expenses of responding to this RFQ shall be borne by the interested firms or individuals.

Question 1:

With Tabs 4 and 6 being similar within the RFQ described response format, I’d like to clarify the request for information in Tab 4. 

  • Are you requesting copies of relevant reports to illustrate our work?
  • If that is the expectation, would it be permissible to refer the reader to an addendum rather than cluttering the central content of the RFQ response?

Answer:

The committee sees no reason why there can’t be an addendum outside the page count of the submission to extract information from the clutter of the RFQ.
