The Town of Wilmot is a member of the Upper Valley Lake Sunapee Regional Planning Commission, based in Lebanon. We have two positions on commission’s board. One of them is now vacant.

Duties of a commissioner include attendance at six meetings per year plus the annual meeting. Commissioners may also join any of several committees, depending on your interests, although these are not mandatory. Commissioners are appointed by the selectboard to three-year terms.

Prerequisites include an interest in regional planning as it relates to the town of Wilmot and being willing and able to drive to meetings in Lebanon and Meriden (Plainfield).
