Herbicide application near utility lines

The NH Electric Co-op and its contractor consultant, Vegetative Control Service, will be applying herbicide to “undesireable vegetation” growing in power line rights-of-way in Wilmot.

Special permit #131 issued by the NH Division of Pesticide Control. Per 505.06 regarding public notification of herbicide treatments to rights of way, Vegetative Control Service has provided the town with “Herbicide User Notification” which includes identification of the power lines scheduled for treatment. They are along
– Pine Hill Road (south of Rt. 11) and adjacent roads
– Evans Road;
– Village Road,
– Woodland Road
– Campground Road, Bank Road and Juniper Lane
– a private road off the east end of Campground Road
– Pinnacle Road
– Patterson and Clarke roads
– Wilmot Center Road
– Cross Hill Road and adjacent roads
– Bunker Hill Road
– Granite Hill and Grace roads
– the north end of Pedrick Road
– Stearns Road and adjacent roads
– NH Rt. 4A and adjacent roads
– Pocket Road and Langley Road
– Eagle Pond Road
– Shindagan Road and Stone Bridge Road

Maps are available at the town offices and include areas where the lines are away from roads and along private roads
