The Wilmot Public Library’s budget is primarily funded by annual appropriations from the Town and is augmented with donations and through fundraising efforts. The Wilmot Public Library is an independent legal entity with its own Trustees and officers.

The library is a community hub with a schedule of presentations and lectures on Thursdays and Saturdays, an informal art gallery that displays the work of local artists, two book clubs, a weekly play time for toddlers, and used books available with a donation to the library.
