Meeting was called to order at 7 p.m. in the Town Office Building. Present: Chairman Ken Grossman, Secretary Janet Howe, Chris Wells, Alternate Geoff Lizotte. Also present were Tim Wallace and Fritz Giddings.
Minutes of April 12 meeting were approved as submitted. Selectman Kenny Clarke was welcomed to the Commission.
Correspondence:
Copy of notice of administrative completeness from the D.E.S. dated May 3, 2007, on the expedited application for work on the Kearsarge Valley Road bridge (Map 11:60)
Copy of April 13 letter from D.E.S. to Bruce Bean asking for a restoration plan for the violation on their Stonebridge lot (Tax Map 11:12 and 13-13). Copy of April 25 letter from Bean to D.E.S. with restoration plan.
Letter from an abutter to the Bean lot expressing concerns regarding work being done there. Ken Grossman will write a letter explaining that restoration work is in progress.
Election of Officers:
Motion was made, seconded and passed unanimously for the officers to remain the same at least through the summer months.
Reports:
Planning Board hearing on Jon Feins application is not relevant to the W.C.C. Janet will attend the June 4 Planning Bd. meeting.
Dredge and Fill informational meeting:
Chris has contacted wetlands/D.E.S. and will hopefully have some dates in June when we can hold this meeting.
Conservation Plan:
Geoff presented the outline for work on the Plan. He and Brian will spearhead the project. Geoff will work on land conservation priorities, and Chris will work on the land protection section. Brian will again do maps and has offered to work on the wildlife habitat piece.
