Selectmen Meeting Minutes 7/30/07

The meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm with Chairman Thompson, Selectman Huntoon and Selectman Clarke in attendance.

At 6:10, on motion of Selectman Huntoon, seconded by Selectman Clarke the Selectmen voted 3-0 to meet in non-public session pursuant to RSA 91-A: 3, II (c) regarding personnel matters.  The Board returned to public session at 6:25.  The Board voted 3-0 to seal the minutes.

The Board met with May Jones, her family and Town Attorney Mark Puffer to sign the deed for the transfer station.  The Town of Wilmot now owns the property known as the Wilmot Transfer Station.

Correspondence Reviewed:
o       Department of Transportation - bid approval for Kearsarge Valley Road Bridge.

The Selectmen signed the notice of intent to award to Hansen Construction for the construction for Kearsarge Valley Road Bridge.

The Board approved the transfer of trust funds from the Soldier's monument fund to pay for pavers for the Soldier Monument.

A Notice of Intent to Cut Timber was approved for Mary Howe on Patterson Road.

At 7:30 the Board and the Road Agent made a site visit to Travis Smith's property on Campground Road.

The next Selectmen’s meeting will be on August 8, 2007 at 6:00 pm.
