The meeting was called to order at 6:00pm with Chairman Thompson, Selectman Huntoon, Selectman Clarke and Administrative Assistant Rhonda Gauthier.
Chief David White came in to inform the Board that everything is good at the Wilmot Police Department.
The Board discussed their options for going before the Planning Board for the transfer station/Jones subdivision. The Administrative Assistant will ask to be put on the agenda for their June 18th workshop meeting and if everything is in order, have a public hearing on July 2, 2007.
After reviewing a recommendation from the town auditor, the Selectmen met with the Trustees of the Trust funds, the town treasurer and Joanne Klatskin from the New Hampshire Public Deposit Investment Pool to review what the NHPDIP has to offer compared to local banks. The NHPDIP benefits are safety, liquidity and market rate of return. After some discussion the Board thanked everyone for coming in and asked the Trustees to review their options and let the Board know what they decide to do.
Joe Durking from Concrete Systems Inc met with the Board to discuss proposals for the Shindagan Road Bridge. The Board will continue to look at options for the bridge repair.
The minutes from May 9, 2007 meeting were approved.
· The Board signed reappointment letters for Janet Howe and Brian Faughnan to remain on the Conservation Commission, Richard Dumais, Pat Brown and Charles Stewart for the ZBA and Richard Chase and Doug Long for the Planning Board.
· The Selectmen reviewed the lease/purchase contract from Caterpillar for the new backhoe for the highway department. The contract will be sent to the town's attorney for Counsel's opinion.
A Building permit was issued to Saucier on Atwood Road to build a shed.
The next Selectmen's meeting will be on May 23, 2007 at 6:00PM.
