The meeting was called to order at 5:00 pm with Chairman Thompson, Selectman Huntoon and Selectman Clarke in attendance.
The minutes from June 20, 2007 were approved.
Accounts Payable and Payroll were approved.
The Board met with Melody Whitcher from Route 11. Ms. Whitcher expressed concerns with the property next to hers. She stated that the owner is using it as a business, trucking materials in and out with large vehicles. Also Ms. Whitcher said because the property owner raised the driveway it is flooding her property and he moved the stone wall. The Board will look into this and get back to Ms. Whitcher.
On motion of Selectman Huntoon, the Selectmen voted 3-0 to meet in non-public session pursuant to RSA 91-A: 3, II (c). The Board returned to public session after ten minutes with no decision made. The Board voted 3-0 to seal the minutes.
Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Lambert from Kearsarge Valley Road met with the board to discuss the approved building permit across the street from them. The Lamberts are concerned if there is a home built there it would affect their property when it rains. The Lamberts also requested there be a line in the road before the stop sign on Kearsarge Valley Road and NH Route 11 to help people stay on the correct side of the road.
On motion of Selectman Clarke, the Selectman voted 3-0 to meet in non-public session pursuant to RSA 91-A: 3, II (d). The Board returned to public session after ten minutes with no decision made. The Board voted 3-0 to seal the minutes.
Correspondence Reviewed:
· Mark Puffer sent information regarding requirements for a special town meeting.
· Munismart gave the Board an analysis of the issues we are having with the tax software. The Board wants Munismart to look into this further because it did not answer any of the Board's concerns.
· NH Dept of Environmental Service - forestry notification for the Davis' on Route 4A.
· Bruce and Bonnie Bean restoration plan for Map 13 Lot 12.
· Scott Ellison - complaint about Rockwood Excavation selling materials from their property.
The Board approved 911#s for Habitat for Humanity on Morey Lane and James Howell on Kearsarge Valley Road.
The Board signed the property and liability member agreement with the Local Government Center.
The next Selectmen’s meeting will be on July 11, 2007 at 6:00 pm.
The meeting adjourned at 7:00 pm.
