The meeting was called to order at 6:00PM with Chairman Huntoon, Selectman Lee & Selectman Siranian in attendance.
The Payroll & Accounts Payable manifests were signed.
Correspondence received was reviewed.
The Board met with Matt Siranian, the Town Moderator, to discuss the handicapped ramp replacement at the Town Hall. Siranian has been working on designing plans for a new ramp so it will meet federal & state requirements. Siranian will bring the new plans at the December 29, 2004 Selectmen's meeting for the Board's approval.
Mark from Earls Nieder & Perkins met with the Board to update them on the revaluation & to inform them that ENP will be sending out letters to the property owners of the homes that the assessors have not been able to enter.
Teri LeBlanc & Tina Naimie of New London Hospital met with the Board to discuss the New London Ambulance Service & the requested appropriation for 2005.
The Board determined that the Wilmot Transfer Station would be closed on December 25, 2004 & January 1, 2005 for the holidays.
The Selectmen reviewed a request from Sumner Woodward to accept Phase II of Deerwood Drive as a Town Road. After reviewing the Zoning Ordinances, the Board agreed that Mr. Woodward is required to submit security for one year to cover any corrections of defects. The Board also requires that Mr. Woodward plows, sand & maintains the road for one year to see if any improvements are needed.
A building permit for Woodland Ridge on Jewell Road for a new home was approved. The Board denied a building permit for Nunes on Kearsarge Mountain Road until a state driveway permit is approved.
