The meeting was called to order at 6:00PM with Chairman Huntoon, Selectman Lee & Selectman Siranian in attendance.
The Payroll & Accounts Payable manifests were signed.
Correspondence received was reviewed.
Wilmot Police Chief David White met with the Selectmen to discuss the hiring of another part-time officer. The job opening will require that candidates have a NH Police Certification. The job will be posted on July 29, 2004.
The Board met with Mr. Witover of Danbury concerning a complaint, but he was asked to return at a later date because his complaint is involved with an on-going investigation.
The Selectmen approved an Intent to Cut for Ann Davis for Hannah Hill Road Right of Way.
The Board reviewed & approved a veteran’s credit for Charles Thompson.
The Selectmen reviewed a report from the Attorney General's Office regarding deficiencies at Wilmot's Polling Place (the Wilmot Town Hall). The Administrative Assistant will be working with the Attorney General's Office for assistance in developing a Polling Place Accessibility Plan.
The Board discussed the ventilation in the FireHouse. Chairman Huntoon thought maybe an exhaust fan &/or co2 detector. Selectman Lee suggested that the Fire Department come up with a plan for ventilation & submit it to the Selectmen for review.
The Selectmen asked the Administrative Assistant to send Begley on Kearsarge Mountain a letter instructing him to move his driveway where the State approved it or there would be a cease & desist order.
The Selectmen discussed the possibility of acquiring gravel for the Campground Road Bridge from Bean's property on Stonebridge Road. This would save money for the Town because it is so close to the construction site. The Administrative Assistant will talk to the State & find out the proper procedures.
