The meeting was called to order at 6:00PM with Chairman Huntoon, Selectman Lee & Selectman Siranian in attendance.
The Payroll & Accounts Payable manifests were signed.
Correspondence received was reviewed.
Building permit applications were approved for Tamasi on Quaker Path for a shed, Hodges on Campground Road for a bathroom & porch, Ferrell on Quaker Path for renovations, Hein on Cross Hill Road for a deck & Sanford on Village Road for a fence & to replace a deck.
The Board asked the Administrative Assistant to send letters to property owners in the village who recently constructed new fences. The letter is to inform them that it will be the responsibility of the property owner to replace or repair anything damaged due to snow plowing or road maintenance.
The Selectmen met with the Wilmot Road Agent, Lee Ford to discuss 2004 paving projects & Granite Hill Road renovations. Road Agent Ford will be using Blaktop for the paving. Selectman Lee will meet with Mr. Ford to help plan the road project.
The Board reviewed & approved a veteran’s credit for William Woodger.
The Board signed the authorization of the transfer of the capital reserves.
The Selectmen decided to participate in the Upper Valley’s hazardous waste collection day due to popular demand. The Hazardous Waste Collection will be at the Newbury Highway Garage on August 21, 2004 from 9am – noon.
