The meeting was called to order at 6:00PM with Chairman Huntoon, Selectman Lee and Selectman Siranian in attendance.
The Payroll & Accounts Payable manifests were signed.
Correspondence received was reviewed.
Keith Fleury will be hosting the Memorial Day Ceremony at the Bandstand and asked to borrow the chairs from the Town Office. The Selectmen gave their approval and the Administrative Assistant will coordinate with Mr. Fleury.
Building permit applications were approved for White on Village Road for renovations to the Post Office, Irick on Mountain View Acres Road to renovate a deck, O’Connor on Wilmot Center Road for a barn and Scofield on Cascade Road for a new home.
The Board reviewed a building permit application from Begley on Kearsarge Mountain Road for a new home but it was put on hold until a few questions were answered regarding the driveway and wetlands.
The Selectmen approved 911#’s for Bowman on Messer Road and Sinnott on Jewell Road.
The Board met with Fritz Giddings to discuss the idea of having a Planning Board sub-committee. The Planning Board could delegate its site review duties to this committee in regard to minor site plans. The Selectmen will review RSA 674:43, III and discuss this at the June 2, 2004 Selectmen’s meeting.
Allyson Fauver met with the Board to discuss research questions on the growth in Wilmot and a class she will be taking to learn about GES mapping. The Selectmen appointed Ms. Fauver to be the Alternate on the Wilmot Conservation Commission.
The Board discussed having an ordinance for no parking on Route 11. They decided to put the idea on hold.
The Selectmen approved the rental of the Town Hall to Best for a memorial service.
