The meeting was called to order at 6:00PM with Chairman Huntoon and Selectman Siranian in attendance.
The Payroll & Accounts Payable manifests were signed.
The Board reviewed a memo from Mr. William T. Brady asking permission to place a “For Sale” sign on Laurel Lane. Permission was granted.
The Board reviewed a memo from Gobin Disposal increasing the Solid Waste Removal costs and asked the Administrative Assistant to call the Division Manager of Gobin and put him on the agenda for the April 21st Selectmen’s meeting.
The Selectmen reviewed information on the Fire Department’s limited access off of Route 11. The Fire Department stopped all non-emergency business at the station until further notice. The Selectmen and Fire Department are working in cooperation with the State Highway Department to rectify the situation, if possible.
Other correspondence received was reviewed.
The Selectmen met with a representative from Earls Neider and Perkins to discuss the final plans for the 2004 pickups and the revaluation. The contract will be signed after the Town Attorney’s recommendations.
Julie Sanford of Village Road met with the Board to discuss her lot on Village Road. She had questions on the Zoning regulations of the Village District.
The Board reviewed and signed Notices of Intent to Excavate submitted by Clarke and Sliter.
The Selectmen reviewed and approved building permits for Sliter on Campground Road for a dormer, generator shed and a T-roof building, Clarke on Pinnacle Road for a swimming pool, Miller on 4A for an addition and deck and Sinnott on Jewell Road for a new home.
