The meeting was called to order at 6:00PM with Chairman Huntoon, Selectman Lee and Selectman Siranian in attendance.
The Payroll & Accounts Payable manifests were signed.
Correspondence received was reviewed.
Dave Babson met with the Board with some concerns and questions about Wilmot’s last revaluation. He explained to the Selectmen that there are a lot of concerned citizens in Wilmot that are not sure what will happen to them if their taxes go up any more. Mr. Babson also suggested that the Selectmen put the minutes of their meetings in the newspaper but he was informed that the minutes are faxed to the newspapers the day after each Selectmen’s meeting, which is every other Wednesday.
Dan Wolfe from the KRSD Budget Committee met with the Board to get their support on the Middle School and High School Building Projects. The Board voted 3-0 to support the Projects.
The Board approved and signed an Intent to Cut for Whitcher on Campground Road.
Building permits were submitted from Gove/Atwood on North Wilmot Road and Hobson on Mountain View Acres Road for new homes. Both permits were approved.
The Selectmen reviewed proposals for a Revaluation Update. There was no decision made due to the lengthy reports sent and questions the Board had. The Selectmen need more time to examine the proposals and get the questions answered before they can determine what the next step will be.
The Board approved a Town Hall rental application for the Historical Society. The fee was waived.
Don Lucas revisited the Board on behalf of the Mascoma Snow Travelers Club with the names of the roads the Club have asked to use for part of their trail systems. The Selectmen were satisfied with their paperwork and approved the request.
