The meeting was called to order at 5:30PM with Chairman Huntoon, Selectman Siranian, and Selectman Thompson in attendance. The Selectmen went on a road trip to look at a possible site for the new transfer station & highway department. The Board was back at the town office by 6:15.
The Payroll and Accounts Payable manifests were signed.
Correspondence received was reviewed.
Building permits were approved for Gove on Granite Hill Road for a detached outbuilding, Lizotte on Bank Road for a detached garage & Henskens on Jewell Road for a deck.
An Elderly exemption was approved for Johnson.
The Board signed the tax warrant.
Theresa Lee came in to speak to the Selectmen regarding her pay as deputy town clerk/tax collector. Mrs. Lee was under the impression that she was to receive a pay raise along with regular town employees. The Board informed her that the tax collector/town clerk was the person that had to approve a pay increase for her since it comes out of her budget.
The Board reviewed the request for FEMA funds for the January snow disaster.
The Board asked that the new town hall rental application be sent to the town's attorney for review.
Requests for bids for town owned property on Quaker Path will be advertised in the Intertown Record & Argus Champion starting on June 14, 2005. Bids will be due by June 29, 2005.
Requests for proposals for the town hall roof & ramp will be placed in the Intertown Record & Argus Champion starting on June 14, 2005. Proposals will be due by June 29, 2005.
The Board approved a movable shed to be placed behind the town office building. This shed will be for the bandstand committee supplies that are currently being stored in the basement.
