The meeting was called to order at 6:00PM with Chairman Huntoon, Selectman Siranian & Selectman Thompson in attendance.
The Board took a field trip outside of the Town Office to decide where to put a shed, what to do about the Sugar Maple tree & to check out the new Police Cruiser. The Bandstand Committee is funding the shed project because they need space for their equipment that they currently keep in the basement. The Board decided to have Chippers Tree people come to prune & fertilize the sugar maple tree & everyone was happy with the new cruiser.
The Payroll & Accounts Payable manifests were signed.
Correspondence received was reviewed.
The Board appointed Richard Lee as alternate to the Conservation Commission & Charles Stewart to the Zoning Board as a full member.
The Selectmen reviewed the work item list sent by Holden Engineering for the final stages of the Campground Road bridge project. Mike Hansen will start in the next few weeks after everything is dried up & the abutter signs the list for his approval.
The Board reviewed & was satisfied with the new dispatch protocol from the Wilmot Fire Chief & New London Police Chief.
Building permits were approved for Barker on Stewart Rd to demo a shed,
Soloman on 4A for a tree house, Gutgsell on Howe for renovations &
McGrale on Cross Hill Rd for renovations & a deck.
A notice of Intent to Cut was approved for Crowell on Stearns Road.
The Selectmen signed the Gravel Tax Levy. Gravel tax bills will go out
tomorrow.
911#'s were approved for Wilson on North Wilmot Road & Notter on
New Canada Road.
The Board reviewed a Dredge & Fill Application from the Thomas' on
Kearsarge Mountain Road.
An application for the use of the Town Hall was approved for the Wilmot
Learning Place to have their graduation.
Abatements were approved for Caponigro on Stonebridge Rd & O'Leary
on Juniper Lane.
Land Use Change Tax were assessed & billed for Cuevas on Wilmot
Center Road & Rucker on Messer Road.
The Board reviewed the road impact fees for the Griffith subdivision on
Tabor Hill so that the Town can start working on repairing Granite Hill
Road.
The Board reviewed preliminary plans for a new highway garage. The
Town is still looking for land for a new highway garage & Transfer
Station.
