The meeting was called to order at 6:00PM with Chairman Huntoon, Selectman Siranian & Selectman Thompson in attendance. Chairman Huntoon was nominated again as Chairman of the Board by a motion from Selectman Siranian and seconded by Selectman Thompson.
The Payroll & Accounts Payable manifests were signed.
Correspondence received was reviewed.
The Selectmen reviewed the Treasurer's report.
The Board met with Mark Neider from Cummerford, Neider & Perkins to get more information regarding the 2004 pickups & the remaining interior inspections for the revaluation. The Selectmen were concerned about the low percentage rate of interior inspections. Neider said it was low but not unusual. CNP are still making appointments for residents that called but were not available on the interior inspection days.
The Selectmen decided to include the 2004 pickups with the revaluation so the building permits from 2004 & previous years will be reflected on the 2nd issue tax bill of 2005.
The Selectmen approved a building permit for Robinson on Cross Hill Road for a two-stall horse barn.
The Board approved Notices to Excavate for Rayno and Sliter.
The Selectmen appointed Nola Adrich to fill the vacancy created by Rick Biron's resignation as Trustee of the Trust Funds.
Lorrie Sliter & Ken Clarke were reappointed to the Planning Board.
Don Lucas was reappointed to the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
The Selectmen appointed Melinda Siranian as Selectmen liaison for the Conservation Commission. Allyson Fauver, a former alternate of the Conservation Commission, was appointed as a full member of the Commission and Chris Wells was appointed as an alternate.
The Board was informed that the new Police Cruiser will be up & running on Tuesday April 12, 2005. The new Highway truck will ready some time in May.
The Board reviewed the list of the ongoing matters with the Town Office, Town Hall & Transfer Station. There will be more discussion at the next Selectmen's Meeting on April 20, 2005.
