The meeting was called to order at 6:00PM with Chairman Huntoon, Selectman Lee & Selectman Siranian in attendance.
The Payroll & Accounts Payable manifests were signed.
Correspondence received was reviewed.
Chief David White met with the Board to discuss his budget proposal. Chief White asked the Board if he gets approval at Town Meeting for a new car if he could keep the old one for a back up. The Selectmen all agreed that keeping the old car is a good idea. Chief White also asked the Board for a call box & security system to be placed at the firehouse.
Matt Siranian met with the Board to go over plans for a new ramp for the Town Hall. Siranian will send a copy of the plans to the Attorney General's Office for their approval & then the Selectmen's Office will get quotes for the job.
Building permits were approved for the Thomas' on Kearsarge Mountain Road for a sugar shack & the Spencers on NH RT 4A for an addition.
The Board discussed the car/boat detailing business on Route 11. The business has not met the requirements to provide the Town with the appropriate State approvals. The Planning Board will be sending the owner a notice to provide the approvals if they choose to continue this business.
