The meeting was called to order at 6:00PM with Chairman Thompson, Selectman Levengood, Selectman Morse and Administrative Assistant Rhonda Gauthier in attendance.
The minutes from November 1, 2006 were approved as written.
The Payroll & Accounts Payable manifests were signed.
The Board voted 3-0 to sign the manifest on Tuesday next week due to the holidays.
The Board met with William Hayes and voted 3-0 to appoint him to the Planning Board.
Rick Gauthier and Ken Grossman met with the Board to discuss the Capital Improvement Plan for the Town of Wilmot.
The Board met with Joyce Lichty, the Wilmot Tax Collector to discuss the procedures in taking in tax money and timely deposits to the treasurer. The Tax Collector agreed that giving money to the treasurer daily will work out better than once a week. The Board discussed and voted 3-0 that the tax collector and her deputy will take more training from Munismart to learn the tax program in more depth.
Correspondence reviewed:
· Transfer Station Committee - The committee's recommendations for future needs of transfer station. The Board discussed the new committee's role and voted 3-0 that the committee will be an advisory committee to the Selectmen and will go to the Selectmen with any recommendations.
· Wiggins and Nourie PA - Green Crow proposed subdivision
· John Hansel - free American Liberty Elm tree for the town of Wilmot
· Primex - training seminar for the usage of electronic communications (email)
· Allyson Fauver - resignation from the conservation commission
· Town of New London - explanation of the increase in dispatch fees
· Sutton Police - thank you note to Chief White for attending an active shooter drill.
The next Selectmen's meeting will be on November 29, 2006, at 6:00PM.
