The meeting was called to order at 6:00PM with Chairman Siranian, Selectman Thompson & Selectman Levengood in attendance.
Others in attendance were Administrative Assistant Rhonda L. Gauthier, Gayle Irick, John Swindell, and a Sutton Resident.
Chairman Selectman advised the public of the proposal to spend $6,000 on a Bailey Bridge for Kearsarge Valley Road and sought comments from those in attendance.
Gayle Irick asked what a Bailey Bridge was and Selectmen Thompson explained that it was portable prefabricated bridge like an erector set.
John Swindell asked why the Selectmen don't close Kearsarge Valley Road to trucks. He said they have no business being on that road. They speed in excess and shake his windows of his house. Chairman Siranian said they will explore options but she can't promise anything because that road runs into Sutton and both towns have to agree to it.
Chairman Siranian solicited any further comment, hearing none, closed the testimony portion of the hearing.
Selectman Thompson made motion to spend the money from surplus; Chairman Levengood seconded the motion.
Meeting adjourned at 6:15PM.
Respectfully submitted by:
Rhonda L Gauthier,
Administrative Assistant
