The Board met with Lynn Soloman, Lorrie Sliter and Brenda Snyder to discuss the progress and goals of the Building Committee.  Lorrie explained how the building committee came up with six possible sites for a highway garage by evaluating their availability, topography, location, etc. Lorrie will be contacting the owners of the property to see if they are interested in selling. Brenda explained that the transfer station committee was still doing much needed research.  Chairman Siranian informed the group that they need to let their committees know that they can't over- burden the office staff and they need to give the office a list of what they need and expect it to take up to a week for the information.

The Board reviewed correspondence from the NHDES: regarding Moody's complete forest notification; Primex: flu epidemic; Sullivan County: Pandemic Preparedness Planning; LGC: 2006 Flu Vaccine Reimbursement; DOT: status of Kearsarge Valley Road Bridge; Kearwood: timber bill, and received a thank you note from S.K.I.T. along with a donation for the use of the town hall.

The first issue tax bill warrant was signed.

The next Selectmen's meeting will be on May 31, 2006, following a 6:00 Public Hearing for emergency expending to temporarily repair the Kearsarge Valley Road Bridge.
