The meeting was called to order at 6:00PM with Chairman Siranian, Selectman Thompson, and Selectman Levengood in attendance.
The Payroll & Accounts Payable manifests were signed.
Correspondence received was reviewed from Rayno, Snyder, Buckley, and Dept of Admin. Services, Barto & Puffer, NHDES (2), NHDRA, Wilmot Historical Society, Lebanon Police Dept., and Merrimack County Conservation.
The Board met with Margaret and Robin Jewell to discuss burning brush at the transfer station. There will be no burning until further notice. Other options are being researched, and the Jewells will be kept informed.
The Board reviewed and approved Notices of Intent to Cut for Moody on North Wilmot Road.
The Board discussed the 7:00pm Public Hearing on possible adoption of an ordinance to limit hours of logging. As a result, there will be no limitations or restrictions. Each complaint will be handled case by case. This information was given to and favorably received by the assembled group at the Public Hearing that concluded at 7:10pm.
The Board reviewed and approved building permits for Peabody on Grace Rd for a dormer, Schwendler on Clarke Rd for an addition, Ness on Kearsarge Mt. Rd for an addition, and Winkler on Stonebridge Rd for a shed.
The Board reviewed and approved Tax Abatements, Board Appointments, Veteran's Credits and a Town Hall Application for the use of the building by a quilting group.
The Board discussed the Highway/Transfer Station Building Committee sub-committees and in order to have some continuity, Selectman Thompson will remain as liaison to the Highway group and Selectman Levengood continue with the Transfer Station group.
The next Selectmen's meeting will be on May10, 2006, at 6:00PM.
