Attendance: Mary Gutgsell , Kate McKibbin, Marc Davis;
Red/White/Blue – we missed you!
New note: we will only have a meeting if 6 people can attend – so let me know by the 1st of the month if you can attend the second Tues of the month meeting – then I can let everyone know for sure that there is a meeting – Thanks!
PARADE AUG 18th: Profile Automobile League, Inc, (P.A.L.) Antique car club notes – David Brook’s guidelines were reviewed and approved.
Emblem – use the colors that are on the Town Trucks
Historical Markers: Marc & Janet – proposals – Marc explained that three loops are being developed and that Lindy Heim is helping with the work. Thanks!
Farmer’s Market: Julie – who and what – July 29th –suggest whom ever works the table that they wear period clothing and direct people into the historical room.

Newsletter to start in Sept. – how - mail? - echo mail and e-mail will be the most economical, Mary to have set up by Aug meeting – to be sent out by end of Aug so that they are in each home by the beginning of Sept.

*Liz Kirby gave update on Memorial cleaning and bricks
*A ‘Thank You” to Liz for her historical information on loan to Mary
PICNIC – help for Elizabeth; prize ideas – getting people to attend – suggested that we use 2007 silver dollars for prizes next year
PARADE AUG 18th: Still need organizer – since the meeting – Griselda has volunteered to take over the organizing since she is no longer doing the Farmers’ Market – Thank you Griselda!
Local Newspaper bulletin = before & after Aug 18th – a supplement to the Intertown Record –solicit ads

What a great group!
Welcome: Carol Weatherbee
Bank business – opened account at Mascoma – under Wilmot Veteran’s Memorial – Bicentennial Fund – gave to Tootie for deposits. Mary and Marc are signers on account – WHS tax #
Any remembrances of 1957 celebration? Chuck told us about the foot races, games, chicken BBQ, Birth of a Town play, no parade – will look up Town report for 1957.
PARADE AUG 18th: Griselda doing application – wants advertising out
in Jan. – I suggest Feb newsletter… May call during meeting
Jen Ellis agreed to do logistics – tents, port-o-pots, shuttles, etc
Chester Robbins of Raymond – hillbilly float 1924 Model T
Griselda called right at 1 p.m to start meeting – will e-mail application when finished. Wants to make sure we have float in NL Hospital Day parade – we will need banners – Keith to look into. Talked about parade route – will not go on Rt 11 – stay on village Road – Brian Faughnan will send enlarged map for planning. Keith still working on color guard. Mary to call one-wheelers again. Jackie checking with Keene based Marching Band. Mary to call Dana Davis to ask about co-chair of parade with Griselda. Trying to get as much free advertising as possible – Soonipi, NH Magazine, NH to Do, InterTown, Argus,
Creative Designs–do we want license plates, and/or boxes?only little license plates, if any, no boxes.

What we have to sell: Calendars, pins, bonnets, cards, cookbooks = enough!
Cookbook – update – Robin –out by summer – final call for those recipes (Barbara & Tootie!)
Time capsule? Mary to call Matt and ask – wish we could open big time capsule! None of us around to open anything!
Historical Markers: Marc & Janet – update –no report
Signage –who to contract? Keith to look into banner for across North Rd in center – between pole across road. Ed Weaver agreed to work on wood sign on Rt 11 along with Brier signs for graphics. Will do by April – chuck to find out legal dimensions and permits.
Bonnets & Quilts – Barbara has lots of bonnets, working on quilts – Paul
is getting better…
